Leefsamen wants to perfectly align their innovative service delivery with the daily living environment of the senior resident. Four things are very important here: scalability, speed, reliability and ease of use. Every second counts in an emergency situation and the emergency services must therefore be reliable and fast, but also understandable for both the senior resident and close family and friends. In addition, the service must be deployable at scale.
We currently handle more than 300 calls per day (115,000 per year) through CM.com, helping thousands of seniors live safely at home every day.
To achieve this, active cooperation with a local technical partner is a great advantage. The partnership with CM.com makes Leefsamen's services scalable and reliable. Does an alarm go off in a home? Within 5 seconds an alarm/call goes out to a group of loved ones who can then respond immediately. When such an alarm is triggered, CM.com's Voice FlowBuilder is called upon to make sure that the alarm reaches the right people.
Configuring the Voice flows is easy via the graphical flow configuration in the Flowbuilder and the debug capabilities available therein. Also, the analysis capabilities of calls are very extensive in the Voice log which gives us the ability to quickly see what the course of a call was.
Thus, with CM.com's Voice solution, Leefsamen offers a highly reliable alarm over the phone. The premium TTS service with a Dutch voice has greatly improved the intelligibility of the Leefsamen alarms. The fact that CM.com is a local partner has been an important factor for the cooperation. For example, Bas and Dave state they would rather work with a good Dutch club than a distant American one.
Thanks to CM.com, Leefsamen's customers now understand the spoken text much better in the event of an alarm. In addition, the reliability of the alarm has become even better. The success rate of phone calls and SMS has improved significantly because the call is set up from the Dutch CM.com platforms to our (Dutch) customers.
Leefsamen aims to reach a large audience; more and more people are living independently at home for longer. By cooperating with more and more municipalities, more seniors living independently at home are also reached. This allows the resident to become acquainted with this innovative way to continue living safely at home. And in doing so, professional emergency services, as well as increasingly scarce district nurses, are relieved.
Our goal is to introduce every independent 70-plusser in every Dutch municipality to Leefsamen.
