Link an Entity to a Conversation Variable

Slot filling allows you to link an entity (whether it's an expression entity or a standard entity) to a conversation variable. When an entity is matched in the end user’s input CM.com stores it in the linked conversation variable. This allows you to:

• Capture any value matched in a standard or Regular Expression entity, e.g., an e-mail address, postal code, or product category/name
• Store the captured value in the conversation variable for later use
