How do I add an attachment to a conversation in MSC?

Steps to attach

Within the conversation view, you can use the paperclip icon 📎 to add attachments

You have two options:

• Drag and drop: drag your file onto the icon, and it will be added
• Click on the icon: a pop-up window will appear that will allow you to add your file

If you exceed this file size, a pop-up message will be shown:

File extensions:

All file extensions with a file size less than the maximum will be supported to be uploaded. Depending on the channel support for extensions the results may vary.

Good to know, with email, files might be handled differently per provider due to having different security policies. For example, .js or .exe files will nearly always get blocked by a receiving mail server.
