Why is the age of the visitors of my event so high?

This can happen because the date of birth option is not mandatory. If it is not mandatory, it is often skipped by the youth. Older people tend to fill this in more often.

This makes it seem as if the average age of the event is very high, but in reality this does not have to be the case.
