marketing
To increase your e-mail deliver ability it's important to ask permission to send emails and respect it. Include the unsubscribe button in the e-mail to manage these unsubscribers.
How to include the unsubscribe button in your e-mail?
1. Include a text box in your e-mail
2. Insert page or special link (see below)
3. Choose for 'special links' and then 'Unsubscribe'
If somebody clicks the unsubscribe button, what happens?
1. If you've set up your consent management page in the customer data platform AND you've turned on the e-mail adapter in the customer data platform. The unsubscribe link will link to the consent management page and the optins & opt outs will be managed in the customer data platform. You want to know how to do that, click here. next to that,
2. If you did not set up your consent management in the customer data platform. the unsubscribe link will link you to the general 'unsubsribe page' of CM. See below.
3. The person will end up in the suppression. Here you'll find the unsubscribed, the complained (somebody complained and marked the email as spam) and bounced (e-mail is not correctly, could not be delivered). If someone is on this list, they are automatically excluded for further e-mails.
