Select the “Users” tab from the menu and you will see a sub-menu for CMS Users and Administrators.
Note: If you manage multiple projects, be sure to double-check that you are in the correct project before inviting new users to the project or changing user roles. View the article on how to switch projects.
Best Practices
As an Admin, you distribute and revoke users and their access rights. This means that you have the responsibility to keep the project safe. Please take good note of the following:
- Access should only be provided to individual users, not groups. This means that each account should be related to one person
- Know who you provide access to. Never just give anyone access to your project since - depending on his role - he might maliciously alter data or share your corporate data
- Make sure you are in touch with your users and have a procedure to know when someone's account should be removed
- Know the various User Roles* available in Conversational AI Cloud and how they affect someone's access to the data in your project
- Only provide the access rights needed for each user
- Only provide a limited number of users with publishing and approving rights
* Advanced and Pro package will only have one CMS user role which they can assign to the user. Additional User Roles are available for the Enterprise package. View our article about upgrading your package.
