Can I choose the text on the PIN receipt myself?
Yes, very easily. You can pick the text in the footer of the receipt via the order form. The footer can consist of a maximum of 1 line of 20 characters.
The header of the receipt always consists of the company name and address. This can not be changed.
Can I change the text on the PIN receipt later?
Yes, this is possible. You can request this via [email protected].
Can I turn off the receipt option?
No, in the Netherlands it is mandatory to be able to offer the consumer a pin receipt.
How can I print a day total overview?
For the terminals without a connected cash register (standalone) the day total overview can be printed by pressing the F3 button and then pressing the green button.
For cash register connected terminals, this can be done via the Cash Register.
I see a response code on the receipt, what does this mean?
The response code on the receipt indicates what the response is from a processor after a transaction is initiated. The responses and their meanings differs per processor party.
The receipt states whether the payment has been approved or not. This is your surest proof that a payment has been successful, or got disapproved.
What should I do if the receipt is not printed?
This can be happening due to the following causes:
- The receipt roll has run out
- The receipt roll is the wrong way round in the payment terminal
- The printer roller is defective
- The motor of the printer is broken. This can be checked by holding down the yellow button (with the Move5000 and the Desk5000 this is the receipt feed button at the bottom left) and checking whether the white gear wheel on the inside of the payment terminal, where the black gear of the printer roller falls into , turns. If not, the payment terminal must be repaired.
