In order to find and analyze the metrics of interest, the dashboards offer extensive filter options that allow you to drill down into the specific insights you are looking for. Filters come in various forms; the following sections describe the types available and how you can use them:
Panel filters
Some dashboards support panel filters, which can be used to filter data across the entire dashboard, affecting all widgets within it. If panel filters are available, they can be found under the filter button at the top right of the dashboard.
Relative Period Slicers
The filter pane offers various slicers to help filter the dashboard data. A relative period selector within the filter pane allows you to easily choose the period scope of interest. You can quickly select a relative period using the period selector buttons, or choose a specific timeframe using the slider.
Parameter Slicers
Within the filter pane, parameter slicers may be available. A parameter slicer allows you to select one or multiple values as filters, such as choosing which metric to display or selecting the number of webstores to specify the dashboard's scope.
Widget filters
Some dashboards support widget filters, which can be used to filter data for a specific widget on a dashboard. These widget filters can be combined with panel filters for more comprehensive data analysis.
Parameter Slicers
For widgets, parameter slicers may also be available. A parameter slicer allows you to select one or multiple values as filters, such as choosing which metric to display or the period granularity of a trend.
