Flexibility, engagement, and digital transformation
Integration of the app at these events will include a host of features such as Interactive Maps, so eventgoers can better navigate the festival grounds during their visit, and push notifications to deliver crucial and relevant information to attendees before and after the event has taken place. By adopting the Appmiral framework, the FKP Scorpio teams will now have the perfect tool at their disposal to grow their digital footprint and value proposition, also before and after the event.
For FKP Scorpio, the European app partnership represents a long-term commitment to add another level of maturity and flexibility to its events experiences, offering year-round engagement for its audiences through a tailored app that will boost visitor experience during the event and enable deeper fan engagement before and after it’s happened.
“We are very much looking forward to offering our guests a user-centered experience in every aspect of our festivals. The smart and seamless features of the apps are a vital part to make this happen”, said Jennifer Lorch, Team Lead Digital Marketing at FKP Scorpio.
A pan-European partnership
For CM.com’s Appmiral, the partnership sees the platform now serving over 100 event customers while offering a unique opportunity to expand further and offer a number of next-level digital transformation projects well into the future. As part of the partnership, both teams are investing in deep product integrations to create a more seamless user journey but also added loads of workflow automation efforts to make timetable data and content sync effortless between the existing web stacks and newly build events apps.
“Working together with a big international party as FKP Scorpio embodies the maturity and high level of quality that our platform has to offer these days. Our team's endless efforts in building the best UX besides adding the ultimate flexibility in our CMS and backend tooling results in partnerships with great parties like this. We couldn't be more proud of adding iconic festivals like Hurricane, Tempelhof Sounds, or Deichbrand to our growing portfolio.” said Robin van den Bergh, Managing Director at Appmiral.
Putting event apps on the map
The partnership comes into effect immediately and will see a big part of the FKP Scorpio apps running on the latest version of Appmiral’s framework, which is considered a spearpoint in the current event technology. The first events utilizing the app will include ELBJAZZ taking place at the port of Hamburg on 3-4 June and Tempelhof Sounds in Berlin from 10-12 June 2022.
The CM.com Appmiral app will also be employed across some of Europe’s most prominent festivals including Germany’s mammoth three-day Hurricane Festival as well as Southside Festival and M’era Luna.
