2024 June | WhatsApp

We are excited to announce the improvement of WhatsApp Standard error codes. This will help you understand why your WhatsApp messages have been failed or rejected and help you in troubleshooting.

We have done the error mapping from META to our own error codes to give better insights on the error that is occurring on your failed messages. This will help you quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring better communication and reliability. We have extended our development documentation with more information what you can do and we refer to the Meta documentation as well.

Improved Viber traffic monitoring

Following a recent internal migration, we have increased our capacity to closely monitor all Viber activity. This upgrade means we can now quickly identify and address any issues so that we can provide you, our customer, with a more reliable experience. :face_with_monocle: :Viber:

Added new Viber features

With our recent update, users can now utilize the BM API to send and receive documents, videos, and rich cards, directly through Viber. :calling: :Viber: :hugging: This empowers businesses to create more engaging interactions with their audience, fostering stronger connections and driving meaningful results. 2024 april | WhatsApp

Improved transparency for WhatsApp Supplier Cost at OTT Invoicing

Prices per WhatsApp conversation are now prominently displayed in the "Tariff" column, while the number of conversations is clearly displayed under the "Quantity" column on the OTT Invoicing. Additionally, we have refined the line descriptions by moving quantity information and omitting unnecessary text such as "conversations". These updates are designed to improve the billing process, giving customers a more transparent and clear understanding of their costs. This update will be visible on OTT invoices starting May 2024. Feature release | WhatsApp's Copy Coupon & Limited Time Offer templates

In addition to the standard templates (Marketing, Authentication and Utility), it is now possible to create and send pre-defined templates: Copy Coupon and Limited Time Offer. Copy Coupon and Limited Time Offer are suitable for Retail & Ecom businesses, where you can easily engage with the end-user via special offers. These templates are currently only available via API, but will be available soon via our Channels App.

2024 January | WhatsApp

Feature release | WhatsApp's Carousel

WhatsApp Carousel is a new marketing template that allows business to highlight up to 10 products or services in a visually appealing and interactive format: 10 customizable cards on a horizontal-scroll carousel in the native WhatsApp application. This works on iOS, Android, and WhatsApp Web.

Feature release | WhatsApp's Flows

With Flows, you can build and iterate on your own rich experiences. Aiming to help you get things done fast and simple natively in the WhatsApp app. One of the challenges WhatsApp has was that existing interactions between businesses and consumers in WhatsApp are not optimal. Out of context links to mobile websites, or lengthy messages threads. Flows is solving these issues.

You can now send out Flows via our platform. Documentation regarding sending out can be found here.

Improvement | WhatsApp's developer documentation

WhatsApp's developer documentation has been updated. More structure has been added which is more manageable. In addition, visualizations have been added to the possible features that can be sent. Being the most visited page of our Messaging developers documentation with about 930 visits per month, indicates the value of this update.

Improvement | WhatsApp template buttons character limit increase

The character limit of WhatsApp template buttons has been increased from 20 to 25. This limit counts for Utility and Marketing templates and is the maximum limit Meta is allowing.

We are excited to announce that LINE is now supported in our chatbot! This means that you can now create and deploy chatbots that interact with users on LINE. To create a Chatbot flow for LINE you need to add the LINE bot token.

We are pleased to announce that LINE has been added to our channel portfolio! LINE is a popular messaging app with over 200 million active users worldwide. It is especially popular in Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. Currently the features, text, media, images and videos are supported in our Business Messaging API.

Feature release | Added Telegram Messenger to the Chatbot

We are excited to announce that Telegram is now supported in our chatbot! This means that you can now create and deploy chatbots that interact with users on Telegram Messenger. To create a Chatbot flow for Telegram you need to add the Telegram bot token.

2023 September | Whatsapp

Feature release | Adding or deleting languages per WhatsApp template in Channels

It is now possible to create templates with languages you never used before in Channels. This means that customers do not have to stick with all the selected languages while creating the first WhatsApp template. This change is not only available in Channels but also on our API which customers can use. API customers can find the documentation here.
