Introduction

We are thrilled to launch your new analytics hub, the Analytics Portal! The following sections provide an overview of its features, availability, location, and what you can expect from this new app within the CM.com platform.

What Is the Analytics Portal?

This new in-platform app serves as the hub for all your advanced product analytics, enhancing your analyses with an intuitive and user-friendly experience. Over time, dashboards from various products will become here, starting with those of the Mobile Service Cloud.

What Can I Expect From the Portal?

  • Enhanced Speed: Navigate through dashboards quickly with redesigned data models.
  • New Toolset: A revamped toolset to help you effortlessly extract valuable insights.
  • New Dashboards: Improved designs, offering more insights across less dashboards.
  • Enhanced Security: Log in using your existing CM.com credentials with Single Sign-On (SSO) for improved security.
  • Better Data: Access near-real-time data, supported by a fully in-house managed data warehouse with new architecture

Where Can I Find the Portal?

The Analytics Portal is accessible via the 9-tile menu (in the central services section) for all Mobile Service Cloud Pro customers.

Who Can Access the Portal?

The Analytics Portal is accessible to all users within the logical account. However, dashboard access is limited to certain platform roles. Users with the 'Platform Owners' role have access to dashboards and data across logical accounts. Users with the 'Administrators' role have access to dashboards and data within their allocated logical accounts, whereas users with the 'User' role can access the portal but cannot view any of the available dashboards.

Does This Affect the DWH Connection?

The introduction of the Analytics Portal does not affect any currently active data warehouse connections, meaning that no changes or updates are required. A new method for connecting and extracting data from the in-house data warehouse setup will be released later, but until then, you can continue using your current connection.
