CM.com launches Sport Industry Awards WhatsApp service

Attendees of the Sport Industry Awards 2021 will be able to communicate with event organisers using WhatsApp for the first time, ahead of the industry’s biggest night of the year on Wednesday 8th September.

Sport Industry Awards Official Partner, CM.com, is bringing the power of customer communication via WhatsApp to the awards to allow guests to easily find information about the event.

Attendees can simply scan a QR code to chat to Sport Industry Group on WhatsApp with any questions they might have about the big night. Ask anything from event timings and dress codes to the new COVID-19 safety measures in place this year. 

Investment in the sports sector

CM.com has been investing heavily in the sports sector in the last 18 months, having recently partnered with the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix to roll out a number of solutions including ticketing, online chat and mobile ordering.

The cloud software provider enables companies as well as events organisers, clubs, charities, and sponsors to get closer to their customers and guests using Conversational Channels such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messaging, and Twitter - as well as WhatsApp and a host of others. 

These solutions enable businesses to provide their customers with on-the-go access to customer support via their favourite and most familiar conversational channels. 

Official Partner of Sport Industry Awards 2021

Earlier this year, CM.com was unveiled as a partner for this year's Sport Industry Awards, linking up with the newly-introduced International Creativity Award.

This year’s sold-out Awards takes place at Evolution London in London’s Battersea Park and marks the return of the live and in-person ceremony in what will be the event’s 20th anniversary.
