Flexibility, engagement, and digital transformation
Integration of the app at these events will include features such as Interactive Maps, so attendees can better navigate the festival grounds during their visit, and push notifications to deliver crucial and relevant information to attendees before and after the event. By adopting the Appmiral framework, the FKP Scorpio teams will now have the perfect tool at their disposal to grow their digital footprint and value proposition before and after the event.
For FKP Scorpio, the European app partnership represents a long-term commitment to adding another level of maturity and flexibility to its events experiences. Offering year-round engagement for its audiences through a tailored app will boost visitor experience during the event and enable deeper fan engagement before and after.
“We are very much looking forward to offering our guests a user-centred experience in every aspect of our festivals. The smart and seamless features of the app are a vital part of making this happen”, said Jennifer Lorch, Team Lead Digital Marketing at FKP Scorpio.
A pan-European partnership
For CM.com's Appmiral, the partnership means the platform now serves over 100 event customers, offering a unique opportunity to expand further and offer next-level digital transformation projects well into the future. As part of the partnership, both teams are investing in deep product integrations to create seamless user journeys. In addition, both partners are adding significant workflow automation efforts to make timetable data and content sync effortlessly between the existing web stacks and newly built events apps.
“Working together with a big international party such as FKP Scorpio embodies the maturity and high level of quality that our platform has to offer these days. Our team's tireless efforts in building the best UX and adding ultimate flexibility in our CMS and backend tooling results in partnerships with great partners like this. We couldn't be more proud to add iconic festivals like Hurricane, Tempelhof Sounds, or Deichbrand to our growing portfolio.” said Robin van den Bergh, Managing Director at Appmiral.
Putting event apps on the map
The partnership comes into effect immediately and will see many FKP Scorpio apps running on the latest version of Appmiral's framework, considered a spearpoint in current event technology. The app's first events will include ELBJAZZ, taking place at the port of Hamburg on 3-4 June and Tempelhof Sounds in Berlin from 10-12 June 2022.
The CM.com Appmiral app will also be employed across some of Europe's most prominent festivals, including Germany's mammoth three-day Hurricane Festival, Southside Festival and M'era Luna.
